Signed CONTRACT FOR DEED not filed with county when home purchased over 2 years ago. New owner not aware this had to be done, therefore was treated as a rental client. 'Renter' thought he owned until city considered property as illegal occupancy due to lapsed rental license;gave orders to vacate. CD owner had to move out quickly. Now seeking aid to straighten things out. Nothing can be done at this point in time, but CD holder will be wiser now when dealing with signed contracts. | |
