ASSAULT
218 MORGAN TUESDAY 1445 HOURS 08-248808
43 year old black male stabbed during an argument with a roommate who was GOA. Victim refused police & EMS service.
BROADWAY & LYNDALE TUESDAY 1930 HOURS 08-250327
Officers flagged down by bystanders who observed a white male cut a black male on the hand w/a razor and then flee. Officers spoke to the victim who refused police and EMS service. Officer bandaged victims hand and advised a report would be made.
3331 IRVING TUESDAY 2021 HOURS 08-249164
Responding to an in progress burglary officer observes the suspect standing at the front door and after numerous commands to him he drops a loaded 9MM, with one in the chamber. A 30 year old white female reported coming home to find a male in her yard that then pointed a gun at her and then forcefully attempted to gain entry. Arrested was Brandyn Townley, a 22 year old black male w/30 CAPRS who smelt of alcohol and vomited repeatedly while in the squad. Arrestee has both 2007 Narcotics & 2006 Burglary convictions and is prohibited from being in possession of a firearm.
27th & COLFAX TUESDAY 2038 HOURS 08-249215
While officers attempted to advise a large group, a drunk/belligerent male approached and as officers attempt to control him he takes a swing at them and eventually strikes both officers. The suspect refuses to comply and is tased during which time three others attempt to obstruct the arrest, fight with officers, are maced and two are arrested and one flees the scene. Arrested were Chance Meeks, Derek Hinton and Mario Forrest, 25, 18 & 20 year old black males w/38, 11 & 8 CAPRS
1920 SHERIDAN FRIDAY 0500 HOURS 08-252082
On the third visit to the address officers took a report from an intoxicated or high on drugs 40 year old white female who said she was arguing with her son and other unknown males inside the house. Victim said group began trashing her home and when she asked them to leave they began to take items from the house. Victim then attempted to stop a car by standing in front of it however the driver struck her with the car.
1830 FREMONT FRIDAY 1618 HOURS 08-252501
45 & 31 year old black male and female stabbed during a fight with a known black male, his brother and father, relating to drug money. Male was stabbed in the back and transported for stitches and the female refused medical for a hand wound but stated if cops don’t do something she will. See related incident 08-253147
2700 GIRARD FRIDAY 2041 HOURS 08-252810
Responding to a PERGUN, officers talked to the mom of six and seven year old males who reported having a gun pointed at them for being in the suspects’ yards. Arrested was Carlton Quist a white male w/0 CAPRS and a BB gun rifle was recovered in his house.
OLSON HWY & LOGAN FRIDAY 2340 HOURS 08-253154
19 year old black male transported himself to HCMC and reported that two 18-21 year old black males approached while he sat on the bus stop and cut him in the face. Victim received stitches for a three inch cut.

Black male reported an unknown male threatening and calling him out of his house and firing shots into the air. See related incident 08-252501.
902 22nd AVENUE SATURDAY 1530 HOURS 08-253801
32 year old black male w/22 CAPRS stabbed by his ‘baby’s mamma’s ex-boyfriend’ and driven to the hospital by others. The stab may have nicked the victim’s liver and a kidney. Suspect is a 37 year old black male w/19 CAPRS.
41st & BRYANT SUNDAY 2048 HOURS 08-255362
Dispatched to a SHOOT officers arrive and find a 26 year old black male w/30 CAPRS @ 4100 Fremont with a head wound and learned he was in a car when shot by a black male on the street. The vehicle occupants transported him to the house where he collapsed after walking inside. Officers located the scene @ 41st & Bryant. NMMC reported victim will recover.

61 year old white male struck in the face with a long gun by one of two black males who first asked to use his phone.

33rd & LOGAN TUESDAY 2130 HOURS 08-249250
26 & 10 year old black females reported four known black females pulled up, got out of a car w/a blunt object saying “bitch, we about to kick your ass”, sprayed mace in her face, struck her with the object and fled with her purse and the child’s necklace.

Black female hit and kicked by five 18 – 20 year old back males and female who then fled with her purse.
12th & LOGAN FRIDAY 2146 HORS 08-252898
19 year old black male robbed by two 15-20 year old black males, who smelt like weed, who first asked to use his phone and after doing so feigned a gun and demanded victims’ wallet, phone and a backpack.
1926 UPTON SATURDAY 2003 HOURS 08-254119
24 year old white female inside the house with others when a 27 year old black male w/26 CAPRS and another black male began to harass her, eventually striking her, breaking her pone and taking $20.00 and when her friend a 38 year old white male attempted to help her the suspects attempted to take his wallet.

Black male robbed of his Louis Vitton bag containing $200, credit cards, keys and his ID by three 20-30 year old black males.
46th & COLFAX MONDAY 0057 HOURS 08-255626
While helping his friend locate a curfew violating daughter they were jumped and assaulted by a group of black males known to his friend who also attempted to rob them. Suspects located and ID’d. Arrested were two 16 year old black males w/6 & 0 CAPRS – AP1 originally arrested in this years murder of a 70 year old female on 36/Fremont

55 year old black female robbed at gunpoint of her purse by two 20-25 year old black males who fled in a white care. See related event 08-255767.

60 year old white female robbed at gunpoint by two 16-20 year old black males who fled with in a white car with her purse. See related event 08-255768.

CRT assisted MGSF with a search warrant which recovered five grams of heroin, paraphernalia, money and a loaded 9MM. Arrested were Jonpierre Gibbons & Duane Wade, 23 & 25 year old black males w/17 & 10 CAPRS
32XX QUEEN TUESDAY 1939 HOURS 08-249121
Officers approached a male sitting at a park bench and when he stood up they observed the handle of a handgun in his pants pocket and after a struggle recovered a loaded 32 caliber revolver. Arrested was a 15 year old black male w/15 CAPRS
3331 IRVING TUESDAY 2021 HOURS 08-249164
Officers dispatched on a Burglary in progress where the suspect displayed a gun. Upon arrival they observed suspect at the front door and after numerous requests he turned around; as he did so dropped a loaded 9MM. Homeowner said suspect pointed the gun at her and attempted to forcefully gain entrance. Arrested was Brandyn Townley a 22 year old black male w/30 CAPRS, a convicted felon.

Officers recovered a loaded 9MM, a 22 rifle w/scope and a sawed off 410 shotgun while searching for a party with a felony arrest & detain order.
4156 FREMONT - Corner Spot Clothing Store THURSDAY 1625 HOURS 08-251285
Search warrant recovered cash, a pound of weed, ecstasy, paraphernalia and a loaded 9MM. Arrested were Walter Power, Kathleen Horton and David Hardin, black males and females, 23, 45 & 20 years old w/11, 18 & 0 CAPRS
4247 FREMONT SATURDAY 1551 HOURS 08-253809
While a Park Officer was checking for a Prowler, a Burglary was aired and he observes the suspect flee out of the house. A foot chase begins, a perimeter is set, and the suspect is found hiding in a trash can (minus his shoes which he ran out of) by K9 and precinct officers. Several items taken during the burglary are recovered in and around the scene along with a loaded 9MM recovered. Arrested was Weldon Welch a 19 year old black male w/36 CAPRS
29XX PENN SATURDAY 1915 HOURS 08-254075
Officers responded to a SHOTS call and arrive to find a party matching the description of the suspect who runs but is caught about a block away and recover a 7.62 caliber handgun. Arrested was a 16 year old black male w/1 CAPRS
GOLDEN VLY RD & NEWTON MONDAY 2155 HOURS 08-257302
While in the area on a SHOTS call officers ran a plate of a driver who came back as revoked and in the vehicle located a loaded 40 caliber S & W, a Ramsey County stolen, and three beers. Arrested were Jeremy Crutcher & Johnny Tolliver, 22 and 21 year old black males w/25 & 10 CAPRS
PATROL HIGHLIGHTS SUBMITTED
2707 Colfax – Thursday – 2315 hours – 08-251787. Fight call where several gang members were booked and another car load booked for Narcotics. 2714 Colfax was also a nuisance and associated with the gang problems. All in all 3 cars towed and 8 booked. Arrested were Delany Burks, Ferome Brown Jr, Octavius Riggins, Germaine Swingler, Andrea Williams, Derrick Martin, Robert Frelix, Robert Anderson, black males and females, 22, 19, 20, 19, 18, 19, 17, 19 years old w/1, 14, 5 , 8, 8, 16 , 21 & 4 CAPRS
Hillside & Irving – Monday - 1816 hours - 08-257077. While running plates officers discover and stop a St. Paul stolen. Arrested were a juvenile & Terrell Fields, both black males, 16 & 31 years old w/1 & 51 CAPRS – Driver tagged Receiving and Concealing and passenger for Motor Vehicle Tampering & Violation of Conditional Release as he was released from prison on Monday, August 11 with the stipulation that he stay law abiding.
14th & Girard – Monday - 1944 hours - 08-257171. While running plates officers discover and stop a Brooklyn Park stolen / non-returned rental. Arrested was Christopher Green a 30 year old black male w/16 CAPRS – who was driving on a Revoked License

Beat 8422 and assisting squads conduct surveillance and make multiple arrests for loitering and narcotics.

Thursday – CRT & SOD Officers conducted a hot zone saturation detail making 2 felony and 9 misdemeanors arrests.

JACT - Mpls Juvenile Division, 4th Precinct Officers, Hennepin County Sheriff Deputies, Hennepin County Juvenile Probation and US Deputy Marshalls made the following contacts and or arrests in the Fourth Precinct. All warrants confirmed prior to beginning field operations and at each location officers explained the purpose and objectives of JCAT.
Officers have been working leads regarding a male wanted on an active arrest warrant and received information he was at a known Chicago, IL address. At that time the warrant wasn’t entered into NCIC so it was re-written, signed and entered. The subject was reported committing numerous criminal offenses in Chicago and his life was in jeopardy by gang members who were there to retaliate. Subject arrested by the Sheriffs Department and is now back at the County Home School.
Male @ 29XX Upton. Active: Certain Persons not to Possess Pistol, Disorderly Conduct, Flee Police on Foot and Curfew/Park Ordinance. Priors: Curfew X12, Parking Violation, Narcotics Loitering, Trespass, Flee Police on Foot, Tobacco, Narcotics and Motor Vehicle Tampering. Officers spoke with a parent however they cooperative. Open investigation.
Female @ 23XX Lyndale. Active: Domestic Assault X2 & Probation Violation. Priors: Curfew X3, Assault 5, Disorderly Conduct, Domestic Assault, Terroristic Threats and Harrasment. Officers learned she’s living with a boyfriend and his mother near 25th & East Franklin Officers conducted field research and identified 21XX 25th S. where contact was made and interviews lead officers to 33XX 31st S. where subject was located and arrested.
Male @ 23XX Aldrich, 40XX Bryant & 46XX Bryant. Active: Felony Narcotics. Priors: Assault 5 X3, Disorderly Conduct and Curfew. At 46XX Bryant officers encountered his cousin who initially denied knowing the subject however officers found subject in the basement and arrested him.
Male @ 26XX Knox. Active: False Information to Police Priors: False Information to Police, Curfew X5, Assault 2, Terroristic Threats, Weapons and Assault 5. Officers made contact with a parent and learned he is on the run.
Female @ 34XX Lyndale. Active: Theft. Priors: Protection Order Violation X3, Transit Crime and False Information to Police. It was reported she moved to an unknown Maple Grove address. Open investigation
Female @ 35XX Bryant. Active: Narcotics. Officers made contact with family who report that she cut her Electronic Home Monitoring bracelet and is on run, possibly with another female juvenile. Open investigation.
Male @ 23XX Fremont. Active: False Information to Police. Priors: False Information to Police, Damage to Property, Curfew, Disorderly Conduct X3 and Assault 5 X2. Officers made contact and learned he is staying at an unknown location with his mother who is reportedly chemically addicted at her new boyfriend’s house, address unknown.
